Archipad is compatible with all iPads. However, for the best experience, we recommend that you use an iPad with 32 GB or more.

To get the most out of Archipad, make sure you have an iPad with the latest version of iOS or the previous version.

Yes, our website is fully compatible with any computer. All you need to do is visit https://cloud.archipad.com/

If you don’t have a Wi-Fi connection, you can connect your iPad to a PC or Mac using the USB cable supplied to transfer data to the iPad.

iPads equipped with the Cellular or 4G option can also use the cellular network for data connections.

Archipad is exclusively compatible with iPads.
However, work packages can use Archipad Mobi, a dedicated application for Android tablets. You can access Archipad Mobi via https://archipad.mobi/ or the web version of our application via https://cloud.archipad.com/.

To update the new version of the Archipad application on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:

  1. Open the App Store on your device.
  2. Touch your profile icon at the top right of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to see available updates and associated release notes.
  4. Next to the Archipad application, locate the ‘Update’ option and press it. This will trigger the download of the most recent version of that particular application.

Following these steps will ensure that your Archipad application is always up to date, with the latest improvements and features available.

It is not possible to use the same account on several iPads or iPhones at the same time. If you try to sign in on a second device, an error message will be displayed. You will need to disconnect from one device before you can successfully connect to another.

Yes, you can find it in the section dedicated to documentation, in the Resources menu, submenu Archipad user guide.

You can adjust the size of the plans and enlarge them by up to 400%. Zooming is done with a pinch of the fingers. Note that the storage capacity of your iPad is taken into account. In general, a plan is around 500KB in size, which means you can store at least 10,000 plans, depending on your device’s storage capacity.

Go to the “Plans” section and click on the “+” button. You can import plans from your computer from: Dropbox, Google drive, Box or OneDrive

When importing a multi-page PDF document, it is important to note that Archipad will only take the first page into account.

It is important to note that the name of the plan must be identical to the previous version. Note that if your plan includes observations, the new plan must have the same scale and orientation so that the osbservations are correctly positioned.

  1. Go to the “Plans” section of your project.
  2. Select the plan you wish to update.
  3. Press the “i” (for information) icon to the right of the plan. A new window will open.
  4. Click on the “+” button to import the new version of your plan.
  5. To use the version you’ve just imported, select the plan, then click on the flag on the right to activate it.

By using zones! A zone is a space where you can store and sort your plans and documents according to their location. You can see zones in the Archipad application, but you can only create them in Archipad Cloud.

To create a zone, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the plans section
  2. Click on the blue “+” button at the top right of the screen
  3. A menu will appear with the following options: “Add a plan” and “Create a new zone”.
  4. Choose the “Create a new zone” option

Create a standard observation for each work package:

  1. Go to the “information” page
  2. Select a work package, then click on the “standard observation” heading
  3. Enter your observation, which will then be proposed to you when you create a new reserve for the same work package

On Archipad Cloud and Archipad App:

  1. Select a visit.
  2. Choose the observation to which you want to add a comment.
  3. Click on the current status, then select “History and comments” and “Add a comment”.

On Archipad Mobi:

  1. Open the relevant project.
  2. Select “Observations”.
  3. Click on the observation to which you want to add a comment.
  4. Finally, select “Add a comment” (put a space between the 2 lines).
  5. To view the comments on your observations, simply go to “History and comments”.

Yes, you can include several photos to your observations, as well as comments and remarks.

An observation cannot be “lifted” during the creation visit.

To “Lift” an observation, you need to create a new visit. Once the new visit has been created, select the observation, access the “Status” field and choose the “Lift” option. Once the observation has been lifted, the colour of the dot will change to grey and will be crossed out.

Absolutely! Here’s how to do it:

On Archipad Cloud, use your mouse to select the observation pad, then drag it by holding down the mouse button to the desired location.

On the Archipad App, touch the observation pad, then drag your finger to the new location you want.

You can customise the colour of the work package labels to differentiate them more clearly.

  1. Go to the “information” page
  2. Select the “Preferences” submenu
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page in the “Observations” section, select the “Dot colours” field and then choose the “By work package” option.

You can also change the event colours by job batch in the “Schedule” section of the Preferences.

On Archipad Cloud:

  2. Click on the “Share” option
  3. Copy the link to the generated report and email it to your colleagues

On Archipad App :

  1. Generate your report
  2. Click on the “Share” icon
  3. Select the “Send by email” option. A dialog box will open, allowing you to add the email addresses of your participants. The report will be attached in PDF format
