Our history
Archipad is the story of a meeting between four office colleagues, who met an architect* while searching for an idea for a product for their start-up. The architect shared with them an observation : professionals in the building and construction industry were wasting a lot of time keeping track of their work using handwritten notes and photographs that needed to be repeated once back in the office.
The mobile application caused an immediate sensation, earning first prize at the Batimat 2011 Innovation Award. Today, it is used by more than 150,000 professionals and is regularly enhanced with new features.
Anecdote
On an ordinary day, an architect rings the doorbell of one of the co-founders of Archipad. The reason? He wanted to show the home he grew up in to his wife.
